Map and Instructions

By Public Transport

Take the Northern Line Underground to Edgware station, where taxis are available.

Alternatively, take the Thameslink rail service to Elstree & Borehamwood station, where taxis are available.

Allow 50 minutes by underground and taxi or 40 minutes by Thameslink and taxi.

By Car from Central London

From the West End, go through Swiss Cottage and Hendon on the A41. Keep on the A41 until you see Elstree Aerodrome signposted off the A41 to the right, about 2 miles North of Edgware just after a roundabout. Follow the signposts for about a mile.

From the City, go out on the Al through Islington and Highgate to the Northway Circus/Apex Corner (where the A41 diverges from the Al) and then along the A41 as if from the West End.

Allow about 45 minutes for either route.

From the M25

If coming round the M25 clockwise - turn off at Junction 19 and follow the A41 South. If coming round the M25 anticlockwise - turn off at Junction 20 and follow the A41 South (signposted Watford and Harrow). Keep on the A41 until you see Elstree Aerodrome signposted off the A41 to the left.

From the M1

If coming via the M1, exit at Junction 5 and follow the A41 South as if coming from the M25, above.
